Throughout
its 70-year history, the Sun Bowl has been known for its tremendous
hospitality. This reputation could not be possible without the hard
work and dedication of the bowl's hundreds of volunteers. In fact,
the Sun Bowl's hospitality has been regarded as the best in the business.
For years, the volunteers have done a great job making the visiting
teams, media and other representatives feel right at home. The volunteers
dedicate themselves throughout the year, especially during bowl week,
to ensure that our visitors to El Paso have the best bowl experience
possible.
The Sun Bowl has volunteers serving on many committees:
football committee, football team host committee, Vitalis/CBS
host committee, media host committee and game day committee. There
are also committed volunteers who serve on the Western Refining College
All-America Golf Classic committee, State Farm Sun Bowl Basketball
Tournament committee, First Light Federal Credit Union Sun Bowl Parade committee
and Little Caesars Sun Bowl International Soccer Tournament Committee.
The efforts of all of these individuals are priceless.
