The Sun Bowl was first televised by NBC nationally in 1964 and again in 1966. A nationally syndicated, regional telecast occurred with the 1967 game. In 1968, the Sun Bowl Association and CBS Sports entered into what is now the longest, continuous telecast of a post-season football bowl game, 35 years. In 2006, CBS Sports extended its Sun Bowl agreement through 2009. Following is a list of all Sun Bowl broadcasts.
